The kind natured plot line could be educational for young children and many similar films have been produced for teenagers recently such as the fault in our stars, one day and my sisters keeper. These are all films that have a similar theme of illness however are still appropriate for children and families to watch together.
In order to see if our film would attract our target audience we could create a questionnaire to see if our storyline would be something that they would be likely to watch and how we can adapt the storyline to their needs and expectations.
This key research may also help us to find a secondary audience for our film who we may not have intended would watch the film. We will film us undertaking the questionnaire and the responses the participants give.
